Amotz spends his time these days scoring Marvel’s Astonishing X-Men and Iron Man Extremis and writing tracks for his music library, Underground Music. He also writes and produces music for albums, such as “Notes from the Whistler” A CD featuring Alessandro Allessandroni, the whistler and arranger of the Ennio Marricone scored Spaghetti Western films of Sergio Leone.
Amotz is at home scoring a psychological drama such as Till Human Voices Wake Us, starring Helena Bonham Carter and Guy Pierce, comedies like Addams Family Reunion, kids animation such as Digimon: The Movie and the cheeky animated TV series; Pamela Anderson's Stripperella..
Amotz recently created Underground Music as a high quality library that combines custom work with music licensing. The library includes hundreds of tracks written by well known musicians and composers, from epic orchestral film trailers to disco and pop songs. (Undergroundmusiclibrary.com) Some of his collaborators for Underground Music include composer Jean Baptiste Boclé, musician/composer Paul Gordon (B52’s, Goo Goo Dolls, Lisa Marie Presley) and singer/songwriter Eddie Chacon (Charles & Eddie, The Polyamorous Affair.)
Amotz attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, then went on to co-found Coyote Hill, a Los Angeles-based commercial music house with clients such as Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, and Revlon.
Amotz lives with his much better looking wife and young daughter in the beautiful LA countryside of Malibu Lake. He occasionally has time to ride his horse in the canyon behind the house.
